About us man!

The Dirty Shame plays original outlaw country and hits from the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, The Shame is able to entertain crowds of all ages and walks of life. From heart wrenching ballads to foot stomping honky tonk the music is brought to life with an emotional clarity and a directness sometimes lacking in new music.

Formed in 2006, the band was the conceptual idea of Brandon Hale who grew up inundated with the songs of his outlaw country heroes. His vocal ability is apparent from the first note of the evening and his ability to emulate the voices of country legends is inspiring. The strong vocals are backed by an eclectic group of talented musicians. On lead guitar and vocals is Dan Bradner whose precision guitar playing and gritty vocals give the music added character and dimension. His great guitar work is complemented by the playing of Tom Day who lends the authentic sounds of the pedal steel to syncopated solos and extended musical forays. The rhythm section consists of the hard hitting drumming and backing vocals of Dean Wakelin and the intense bass playing of Mike Hoffman on electric and upright bass.

While The Dirty Shame is in development of their debut original album they continue bringing the music to people around the western states and are planning a tour for next summer to promote the forth-coming albums. The Shame has been keeping busy playing bars and mid-size venues as well as private parties and weddings, and has been fortunate to share the stage with some great acts including Junior Brown and the legendary David Allan Coe.
