The Dirty Shame is an Outlaw Country band out of Bozeman, MT. Formed in 2006 by founder/frontman Brandon Hale the band has performed consistently over the years throughout Montana and surrounding states.  The band has entertained crowds at over 1200 live shows, from festivals to rodeos, dive bars to Lavish Hotels, private parties to sold-out arenas opening for the likes of David Allen Coe, Craig Morgan, and Gary Allen, to name a few. The band has been featured on PBS's Emmy award-winning music series "11th and Grant" performing all original material.

The band predominantly plays covers of The Original Outlaws of Country Music such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, David Allen Coe, Merle Haggard, Hank Jr., and Jerry Jeff Walker. However, Hale is passionate about his songwriting and strives to take the next step in his music career as a recording artist hoping to gain enough exposure and fans to tour around the country performing his original material.

Seeing its share of talented band members come and go over the years, Brandon Hale remains the sole permanent member of the band. His passion and commitment as a singer/songwriter as well as manager, booking agent, marketer, and sound tech are evident in the band's success as well as the quality of their music.

After a 4 year break from playing music Brandon reformed the band in 2021 working with an ever-changing cast of talented local players sitting in as welcomed guest members of "The Dirty Shame" til Hale finds permanent players.

The band has released one "self-titled" album as well as 2 EPs and one single. Hale is currently writing a solo album as well as some rebranding of the band, changing the name to "Brandon Hale and the Dirty Shame". The band is still going strong and booking out for the summer of 2023 at the moment.
